How We Started

Calstro Hospice was formed in 2015 by two Registered Nurses, Alex Castro and Oscar Caldera. Locals to Southern California, these two came together after working in the healthcare industry for several years, and hearing and seeing the deficits in care for terminally ill patients. Inspired by a desire to give back to their community and give the highest-quality of care to those in the end-of-life stages, Calstro was formed.
